Hi, I’m Jesse James Carver ("The Unblocked Carver")
Wood carver, web designer, and founder of The Living Internet Alliance. I launched this convention to help creators reclaim their humanity and build profitable brands around it.
The desert quest that started it all
Last December I fled from the Canadian winter and was living out of a tent in the Mojave Desert, carving blocks of cedar and chasing clarity. One night I joined a live call with the team at Kortex (now Eden), the creator platform built by Dan Koe and his team. A few weeks later, Dan and I were standing together on a rocky viewpoint in Arizona talking about consciousness, creativity, and human relevance.
"Now that technical work and intelligence are on tap thanks to AI, what is left is taste, agency, and coherence." — Dan Koe
I had an epiphany about human creativity and the future of the internet. On our desert hike, Mr. Koe dropped a clue that stuck with me. To succeed in the social media landscape, you've got to inject yourself into a tribe.
That realization eventually led me to launch the Creator Economy Convention: a weekend to rediscover your unique humanity, align with your tribe, and build a brand that unblocks your life of freedom and purpose.
I'm looking forward to seeing you in Vancouver.
